Beginning Agility Foundations II

CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Dog's must have attended a basic obedience class prior to the owner signing up for the class or have instructor's permission.  This is a continuation of beginning agility foundations I.

DESCRIPTION

The purpose of AKC® agility trials is to afford owners the opportunity to demonstrate a dog’s physical ability/soundness and willingness to work with its handler under a variety of conditions. The program begins with basic entry-level agility, and progresses to more complex levels that require dogs to demonstrate higher levels of training and interaction with their handlers.

Agility results in a better rounded, conditioned dog, provides good basic training for search and rescue dogs, demonstrates good training and citizenship and has excellent spectator appeal.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring your dog (of course!), shot records, soft chewy treats in a side pouch or front pouch (hoodie type sweaters work well), 6ft leash (non-retractable), and a flat-buckle, slip, or martingale collars only.

Class is 6 weeks. Price is $90. Class starts on Saturday, January 9th, at 11:30pm.

You must contact the instructor at rael@ptialaska.net to sign up of for the class.

Students are welcome to wear a mask but it is not required, nor will the instructor be wearing one.
